Hôtel Le Cantlie Suites

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, I planned my proposal here for my partner and me. Kim made sure everything went to plan, and the room was decorated accordingly. They went above and beyond to make sure such an important moment in our lives was perfect, and I cannot thank them enough for that. On top of this, the room was lovely and the hotel is beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Whether it’s just for a quick vacation, or you plan on having your own engagement here. They will ensure everything is taken care of. I couldn’t have been happier with everything. Amazing place.

The best part of our stay at the hotel was the interaction with the staff members, front desk and George from maintenance. I am already planning to return in May. The few issues we had were resolved promptly and efficiently. The suites are very clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for our family trip.

The staff was excellent, pleasant and professional. The hotel is a bit dated, however it was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean and the water was hot. Lots of quality restaurants and bars within walking distance. Perfect for an old guys trip to watch a hockey game. An excellent value. We would definitely consider this hotel on a return trip.

Pretty good for the price. I would repeat. Only suggestion for improvement: there was a pee smell in the sofa mattress, probably from some previous children sleeping there. We turned it around and the other side was ok. But I suggest checking, cleaning and protecting the mattresses with plastic or similar for children accident.

This hotel is located well for shopping and restaurants. The hotel is clean and friendly. Staff spoke French and English. The bistro had a great breakfast and meals were well-priced.

Stayed here February 2026 for 4 nights. Room was very clean, although not a fan of carpet in rooms it still smelled clean. Room came with a kitchenette so you’re able to cook in your room. I cooked several times and at no point could I smell food in the room. Great ventilation. Beds were very comfortable. When I arrived at my room, I opened what I thought was a cupboard but was the heating system for the room and noticed the filter was completely full. Also the tub wasn’t draining properly. I spoke with the front desk and both were fixed immediately. Staff were very friendly and accommodating as were the cleaning crew. Price of the room was very reasonable. The hotel is very close to great attractions that are walking distance or a quick uber drive away. The only downside was the breakfast restaurant. Although they had a good selection for the buffet, they were always out of bacon and eggs. We waited 25 minutes for them to be replenished on the two mornings we ate there. The bacon was very overcooked and quite greasy. We ate elsewhere after that. Upon leaving the room I noticed that on the curtains appeared that at some point, some guy had urinated on them. Im not an expert but that’s what it looks like. So if it’s on the curtains it would be on the carpet. So again not a fan of carpeting. I meant to tell the front desk on the way out but left in a rush and forgot. Other than the negatives it was a great time in Montreal. My first time there.

Everything was perfect — professional services and a great front desk team. I travel a lot (Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, etc.), and I have never had such a good experience anywhere else. Thank you very much to your whole team — it was an amazing trip. Very professional and very respectful. i hope It was optione for free parking and breakfast inclouded for the price

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is close to attractions. The room was spacious and clean. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no water provided for guests.
